CICCIC have only got themselves another big band residency! How many places can you say that about?
The Sunday Big Band is back… Following on from last winter’s hugely successful experiment…
Over the 6 months from November to next April, on the 3rd Sunday of the month, there is going to be one set from a 17 piece big band at lunchtime. Each month will be a different theme with different tunes.
This month’s theme: Feelin’ Good at Christmas: Lunchtime Sunday Dec 16th.
Both our fabulous singers- Hannah ‘Santa Baby’ Deason- Barrow and Chris ‘Let it snow’ Franks- will be involved in making you feel good at Christmas.
The band will probably wish you a Merry Samba too. Get the drinks in and we will help you warm up.
Big Band Sundays
The Sunday Big Band is a collaboration between different Big Band musicians. There is a jazz tradition of ‘workshopping’ tunes in public, but we are going to save you the workshopping and just bring you the good stuff.
