Exhibition – Politics & Protest: Posters from the Women's Liberation Movement – 30th October to 11th November 2018

Hatpins to Hashtags, from the Feminist Archive South, is an exciting programme of free workshops, events and an exhibition. In this centenary year of votes for some women it celebrates women’s activism then, now and in the future and aims to reclaim the tools of democracy to mobilize activism. These dynamic posters celebrate the activists of the Women’s Liberation Movement (1970-2000) who spoke out and campaigned against discrimination and inequality. They ask us to think: what has been achieved, what is still to be done?
Feminist Futures
Creative workshops for young people of all genders exploring UK democracy and gender inequality through the diverse herstories of women’s activism. See website for details.
