The_Artist_and_the_Model_posterIn 1943 an old sculptor and his wife live in a small town on the border between occupied France and Franco’s Spain. 80 year-old Marc Cros has not sculpted for years; disillusioned by two world wars, the artist has lost all faith in art, life and humanity. But when his wife Lea finds a Spanish woman, Merce, on the run from Franco’s army and offers her the chance to live in the artist’s studio, Marc inadvertently finds himself with an attractive young model for what will be his last sculpture.

Registered as a community cinema in Paul Street, Taunton, the independent flexibility of screening films for audience numbers of up to 60 means an intimate setting for a great movie night out.
