We invite you to participate in this exciting and dynamic launch event for the THE DARE TO DREAM PROJECT which will involve a brief presentation from the acclaimed musician Johnny Mars and a question and answer session to identify whether this revolutionary workshop could work for you, your family and friends.

Where and When: Wednesday 29th March 6-8pm at the Creative Innovation Centre CIC, Paul Street, Taunton TA1 3|PF

Who is this for:
Teachers, Parents, Carers and young people who are interested in the empowerment of music and how it can transform and inspire young people to build self esteem and confidence in their own creativity and futures.

Example programme: Over the course of two days we will work with a class of up to 30 students where we will be engaged in the creational process of producing your school anthem. This will draw upon the characteristic strengths and aspirations of your school. At the end of the course your school will receive an evidence pack which includes lyric sheets, a DVD of the day and a CD with a final performance recording as well as a backing master track that can be used by your school to perform your own unique school anthem. Your unique school anthem will give your students more belief in themselves, building confidence and an understanding that everybody’s contribution is valuable. Students experience: independent learning, development of emotional literacy, writing and illustrating ideas, making and producing music.

Johnny Mars works with the classroom teacher to enable further in-house progression.! We are open to surprises! We have many years experience in teaching and working in the music industry.

Dare to Dream Vision

A concept that Unites young people by transcending every kind of boundary, whether it be social, political, racial, or economic.

Dare to Dream Unites all people and societies, in a multicultural and multinational educational society.
Dare to Dream unites our societies in culture, nationality, Music, Arts, Education, etc. producing a Healthier society.
“Any educational program to enhance human development and cultivate a sense of humanity should always include the arts….. The arts should be at the heart of an education that helps us to become more human.” — Vincent Harding
“By encouraging interaction and exchange among youth raised in many different cultures, new ways of thinking will evolve that will surely create a new sense of solidarity and unity. As they come to understand one another’s growth and development, they will succeed in building a new era.” — Daisaku Ikeda

Dare to Dream brings together the hopes, dreams, and works, of our Greatest leaders of Peace, Education ,Culture, Arts, and Economics.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Nelson Mandela
