‘FORAY’ An exciting exhibition from 3 local artists 4th-29th July 2017
An Exhibition of paintings from 3 Somerset based artists whose work draws from a broad variety of sources under the theme of “Foray”. Using the definition of Foray as the focus of their work, the three artists have sallied forth into unknown territory to find and bring back material and visual impressions from which they can create their work.
Preview night is July 4th 6-9pm – All art lovers, and nature lovers, welcome
The artists will be on site for some part of the exhibition to discuss their work and the process from initial “foray” to completed works. Source material such as sketch pads will form part of the exhibition.
William Duggan.
William’s body of work stems from a recent project observing the River Tone in all of its various moods and seasons.
Janet Glynn Smith.
Janet’s work represents a change in direction from landscape to seascape, coinciding with a geographical move.

Inspired by different man made structures, Tors’ paintings include diverse images -from majestic Towering Cathedrals to humble rotting sheds..
The exhibition runs from July 3rd to July 29th and is open to the public at the cafe gallery at the Creative Innovation Centre CIC, The Memorial Hall, Paul Street, Taunton TA1 3PF Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 4pm (Except Friday afternoon for workshops).
