Together in 1970 they formed Waverley Photographic in North Devon and revolutionised the wedding industry with their journalistic approach at a time the BIPP where promoting and expecting members to use of tripods and wear morning suits at weddings! Paul moved to the USA after working in Rhodesia and South Africa and has stayed ahead of all the dramatic changes we have experienced in the profession. Tony, who is on your regional committee, and Paul have stayed friends and over the years have turned up at the same assignments.in the picture when they were in Nashville covering Dolly Parton for the Radio Times and MoJo magazine.
This is a fantastic chance to hear how from humble beginnings and against all odds Paul has kept up with technology, business and marketing proved by the fact that his images are still being syndicated all over the world! This is an evening for everyone on all levels and disciplines and we are delighted to say that the region has enough funds to make a free entry event for members and any photographic guest they would like to invite. Please come and bring as many as possible as we need your feedback of what you might like from the region in the future.
