Cost per person £5 per workshop (Normally £25 but £20 subsidised by Taunton Deane Borough Council for creative’s living in the borough of Taunton Deane – if you are outside this borough you may still attend but will have to pay full price). Max No: 15.
Ongoing business development surgeries and critiques identifying strengths weaknesses and building a personal development programme. Including creative start-up workshops that develop new businesses and provide creative industry specific resources/routes to market. Covering: Self-employment, business development and export advice clinics e.g UKTI.

You will receive a personal interview with an experienced business or creative advisor who will listen to your ideas, business problems or areas you are interested in developing. Through the informal interview you will receive guidance and support to develop your business and practice.
All conversations, disclosures and intellectual property will be supported by a signed a non-disclosure agreement to ensure confidentiality and aid open conversation.

Richard Holt. Director of Core Business Design and Creative Innovation Centre CIC. BA Hons Industrial Design PGCE MCI FRSA. Fellow of Creative Enterprise through the Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Plymouth University. Extensive knowledge in training programme design, delivery, management, quality assurance and accreditation.25 years management experience in business design training.
Diane Burnell. B.A. Hons (Fine Art); qualified Industrial Trainer and Personnel Manager. Before graduating with a B.A. Hons (Fine Art) and pursuing a career in Fine Art, Diane worked for over 30 years in the area of Personnel Management and Training – in engineering industries; with a National Training Board and eventually in her own Company Arrow Training Associates Limited which also operated as a Managing Agency for the Manpower Services Commission. In her retirement she also managed her own Guest House business for several years.
She now practices as an artist locally and is a founder member and Chair of Somerset Contemporary Artists Network; facilitates Taunton Deane Creatives’ Club; is Taunton Deane Area Representative for Somerset Art Works; and serves on the Committee of GoCreate. She also acts as Curator at CICCIC.
