Sail Away
An exhibition of paintings by John Abraham, a local artist, who has returned to painting after almost 50 years.
Working in acrylics, John’s subject matter usually includes water and large, often dramatic skies reminiscent of Turner.
Who’s it for
John’s work is accessible to and enjoyed by everyone, young and old alike.
About the Artist
As a teenager John attended Northampton Art College, working mainly in pastels. However, life pulled him in various directions and there seemed to be no time for painting.
He was nudged back into painting by his partner Beverley and his long-suppressed artistic expression was released. He now divides his time between painting and his ‘day job’, restoring antique chairs and sofas.
