We’ve pulled all the stops to deliver the most exciting and the funniest comedy club in Somerset. We are throwing money at comedians (coins bruise them quite well) and the stage will be lit to show off the craziest and funniest performances you’ll ever see on the UK comedy circuit.Bought to you by CICCIC and Genius Events (the people who bring you Stand Up for Cider) this bi-monthly comedy club will exercise your chuckle muscles and deliver a great night out at CICCIC’s amazing Memorial Hall.

You’ll get the chance to see several comedians on the night along with some amazing talent from known comedians who like to test their material at comedy clubs like ours before they take it to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.

It will be unadulterated, full of surprise and have you laughing all the way through the weekend. MC – Roger Monkhouse

Roger Monkhouse is one of the most original and distinctive acts on the comedy scene. A consummate stand-up who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience.

A highly original and quirky performer, Roger’s trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit.

He is one of the regular writers on Channel 4’s hugely popular comedy panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats responsible for scripting up-to-the-minute topical gags every week for the show which features Jimmy Carr.

Matt Foster

Rocketing onto the comedy scene in 2015, Matt quickly went from new face to touring headliner, performing in comedy clubs all across Canada. In 2016 he was signed by Yuk Yuk’s Comedy, Canada’s largest comedy club chain. He has performed at the Kamloops Comedy Festival, the Comedy Here Often? Presents: The Pretty Good Comedy Festival in Victoria, BC, and more.

Seven years and 1500+ gigs later, Matt is bringing his comedy to the UK. Recent winner of Up The Creek Comedy Club’s ‘Blackout’ Comedy Competition in London, he can be found performing at comedy clubs all around the UK. Blending disarming likability with a fierce comic mind, Matt conjures eruptions of laughter from seemingly out of nowhere, delivering a show that leaves audiences gasping for air. Matt’s dynamic conversational style, tightly crafted jokes, and hilarious observations delights and surprises from stages all across the world. “A comedic treasure and an absolute joy to watch on stage!”

Samantha Day

Samantha Day is new to the comedy circuit but already making waves.

Headline Act – Bennett Arron

Bennett Arron is the only Jewish/Welsh Comedian on the Circuit. His humour is a cross between the paranoid angst of Max Boyce and the colloquial valley humour of Woody Allen.

As well as performing all around the country, Bennett Arron has also entertained audiences in The United Arab Emirates, Rome, Spain and Germany. Plays all the major London and UK clubs, including The Comedy Store, The Glee and The Stand as well as venues all around the world.
