Help raise much needed funds for CICCIC by attending our amazing Fancy Frocks & Fundraising event, which is going to be a great night of fun, food and drink and we have themed this one as ‘Getting to Know You’, because we are going to get extra social and be amongst all who attend and not behind the bar. Plus, there will some fun social surprises on the night.
But why Fancy Frocks? Well, it’s not often we get the chance to wear our fancy frocks and look dapper in our suits unless we go to a wedding or similar event, so we thought it would be great to dust off our best dresses and spiffy attire and have a posh night of fun.
We will be putting out our large round tables, white linen cloths, and candles to provide a classy environment and will provide some organised and surprise entertainment during the night. It’s going to be a great social night you going to love. So why wait, get your tickets before they go.
What’s Included
Though the ticket price is is £30 per person we have assigned £15 of that for food, and little bit more for your arrival drink. So the rest is part of our fundraising. But bring some cash to enter our raffle and help us fundraise more.
When deciding on food we asked ourselves what goes well with a good glass of wine, cider or beer, but also has a communal social feel and is typically British and simple. So, working with local caterer Sara’s Kitchen, who happens to make Somerset’s best scotch egg, we have devised a ploughmans style menu, so you can pick and choose what you want, take your time nibbling, and includes:
- A selection of cheeses
- Succulent home cooked Somerset ham
- Sara’s award winning scotch eggs
- Pork pies from locally sourced pork, encased in a crisp, golden pastry
- Grapes, apple, celery, and vine tomatoes
- Tasty crisp balsamic onions & pickled onions
- Beetroot and a selection of chutneys & pickle
- Fresh mixed salad and coleslaw
- Freshly cooked bread from dough & butter
Vegetarian options available and you will be asked if you want vegetarian after you buy your tickets.
Order of Service
The evening starts with a glass of prosecco upon arrival and for the first hour or so we shall have background music and give everyone time to socialise, say hello, enjoy a drink or two and indulge in the freshly prepared food. Then throughout the night you will have a chance to experience:
- Presentation & informal chat from Directors of CICCIC
- Round table wander
- Live music
- Table quiz
Dress Code
Though we ask that you dress in your finest such as your posh frock, suit or snazzy jacket, you can wear smart casual. You can look glamorous, colourful, vintage, elegant, classic, put your bling on, and bring the swagger that comes with feeling like a million dollars.
Summary
You’re going to have a fantastic night out while helping us raise much needed funds for our not-for-profit organisation, and we hope that our long standing friends and supporters of CICCIC will jump at the chance of supporting us further by attending this social event.
Spaces are limited and every person gets a reserved seat, so we recommend you book at the earliest convenience, but must book before Thursday 23rd April, but please note that leaving it that late may result in no tickets left as we are sending personal invites to lots of people and only have 60 tickets.
