Albion Running Presents Ultra Q&A 2 – An Evening with Nathan Flear – Fri 19th Apr

Doors 6.30pm. Starts 7.00pm. Adv ticket £15. On the door ticket £17.

How much could any of us achieve with enough belief and enough motivation? When Nathan Flear struggled through a 1 mile downhill run on 1st January 2015 who could have believed the direction his life would take? Within 18 months he was winning the second edition of our Ham & Lyme 100k race in a time that very few runners have bettered since. With a borderline obsessive approach to training and a “Why couldn’t I?” attitude he soon progressed to being the first UK finisher in the legendary Spartathlon race and then won the open 24-hour race at the World Championships in Albi, France, qualifying for the GB team in the process.

This is just scratching the surface of an incredible story that will intrigue, inspire and instill a belief that we can all achieve more, but that the most important thing is to enjoy it. Always.

Having set up ‘End to End Virtual Challenges’ with his partner Tori during the Covid lockdowns and inspired thousands to get more active, Nathan also had time to reflect on his story so far and captured it all in the bestselling, page turning memoir ‘From Puddings to Podiums.’ Come and listen to what Nathan has to say about it all and ask him questions, then think about what your next goal will be – this may well redefine what you believe is possible!… Oh, and just for the record this will take place on Nathan’s birthday!

Ticket price includes:

  • Live Discussion and Q&A with the Nathan Flear
  • Tasty snacks
  • A raffle to win awesome running-related prizes

There is a licensed bar serving alcoholic drinks, teas and coffees.
