Join us as we celebrate 10 years of CICCIC with this special CICCIC birthday bash event. Your ticket includes a free drink worth £4-5, nibbles, plus amazing live music from soul funk jazz 5-piece band The Curve.
There will be a short presentation of the past 10 years (it’s actually 11 years but we couldn’t afford a birthday bash last year), plus there will be some fundraising on the night with an amazing raffle and the night has been extended to 1.00am.
We’d love see old faces and new attend and as always the directors and staff will be around to chat and even dance with you as we celebrate a decade of supporting and delivering great arts and culture in Taunton.
About The Curve
The Curve is a modern take on soulful sounds of 60’s and 70’s music with a modern twist and original compositions. With an emphasis on improvisation and sonic exploration with amazing keyboard and hammond organ playing wrapped up with funky and complex guitar, brass, bass and drums, you will certainly get your groove on and want to dance.
With over 30 years’ experience in the music industry touring with the likes of George Benson and Randy Crawford and counties such as Japan, USA, Australia, New Zealand and many more places, you are guaranteed a top-quality night of soul funk jazz.
So, if you want flavors of Herbie Hancock, twists of Quincy Jones and foot stomping groove music to wash your week away and awaken your funky bones then this is the night for you.
