On Friday 18th October 2019 the CIC hold its 11th CLUB KONGO night. The simple formula is two kick ass live bands and an all vinyl DJ – featuring killer surf, garage, rock n roll music. 
Headliners all the way from sun kissed Hastings, East Sussex are The Dirty Contacts. Expects scuzzy fuzzy garage punk from people who should know better, but don’t. Authentic psyched-out, fuzzed-up, 60s-style garage punk set in the manner of The Seeds, Beefheart, Leo & The Prophets, & Wimple Winch…oh yeah!
Support comes from The Cheap Violents Cats. Expect greasy spoon jukeboxe sass, with a pungent wiff of British motorcycles and Gretsch guitars. Rock and Ruination awaits.
We also welcome back the South West’s premier vintage jock DJ Luther ‘Big Dog’ Dixon to The Creative Innovation Centre. Get ready for vintage cuts from The Sonics, The Stooges, The Ventures etc … yer little feet won’t touch the ground.
