CLUB KONGO IS BACK
Taunton’s wackiest night out ‘Club Kongo’ returns to the The Creative Innovation Centre on Saturday 1st October. Run since 2017 Club Kongo delivers killer live bands, vinyl DJs, 1960s go go dancers, plus the usual freak out, films and visuals.
The latest bill includes, from Hastings ‘The Dirty Contacts, who play scuzzy fuzzy 1960s garage punk, followed by Leeds 3 piece ‘Nervous Twitch’, who play play hook filled new wave pop songs and are currently promoting their 4th album out on Reckless Yes. Opening up will be Bristol-based, inglorious psych-fiction-acid-rockers ‘Shotgun Sun’ PLUS our fantastic 1960s go go girls ‘The Go Gets’ AND Dj Lee Grimshaw and Dj Bongo Debbie.
This promises to be another night to remember.
