Exeter Latin Orchestra

Exeter Latin Orchestra is the UK’s only dedicated Latin Orchestra society, bringing the vibrant sounds of Latin music to life. From upbeat salsa to smooth bossa nova and romantic bachata, our repertoire celebrates the richness and diversity of Latin genres.

Founded in 2024, our society has already had great success in Exeter, performing music that is rarely heard live in the UK student scene. Now, we’re thrilled to bring our sound to Taunton and share the energy of Latin music with new audiences across the South West.

Featuring music by iconic artists such as Willie Colón, Celia Cruz, and Dimensión Latina, our set promises a lively, immersive experience that captures the spirit and soul of Latin music and will have you itching to dance. Our performances are all about atmosphere – whether you’re a seasoned dancer or completely new to Latin music, you can expect an evening full of rhythm, movement, and feel-good energy. With original arrangements crated by our own musicians, expect powerful horns, a tight rhythm section, and dynamic vocals.  It’s an evening you don’t want to miss!
