A music night in association with Richard Huish College & student collaboration The Underground Sound Lounge.

The underground sound lounge is an indie music themed night featuring bands and artists Æ, Out of the Blue, Illicit, Datura, Aurora and our solo act is Anouska.

Æ is a band of a mixture of genres, consisting of Indie folk and indie rock. We are made up of four members which include; Ash (lead singer, guitarist, songwriter), Bella (bassist and backing vocalist), Joe (lead guitarist) and Charlie (drummer). We play an equal number of originals and covers; we like to get the crowd involved and have a high energy performance.

An all-female band from Taunton, Out of the Blue put an acoustic twist on old classics and contemporary songs. They are a four-piece, that not only reimagine covers but also perform their own music! Drawing from genres such as folk, Indie, and soul, their eclectic set lists are bound to have you singing along.

Illicit are a 4-piece alternative rock band from Taunton, the band consists of Olly Mockridge (Vocals/ Rhythm Guitar), Fred Williams (Lead Guitar), Harrison Tapp (Bass Guitar), Joe Weston (Drums). The band, formed in 2023, all met in college and quickly formed a musical bond. Mainly playing covers, Illicit’slive sets are full of energy and audience interaction.

Aurora is an alternative band based in the southwest consisting of 5 members that work together to play a variety of genres.

Datura is a three-member band with a love for playing indie pop and using two- and three-part harmonies.
With a passion for jazz, Anouska is a multi-genre performer from the southwest.

This is a part seated and part standing event. Licensed bar and cafe drinks available. No outside drinks are allowed.

Online ticket sales stop 6pm, Thur 29th Feb. There may be on-the-door tickets available after this time.
