Painting and Drawing Classes – Friday Mornings Summer term 9.30am-12.30pm 24th April  – 17th July (6 or 12 Week programme ) Half term 29th May

The focus for the summer term painting and drawing courses at the Arts Hub, will be landscape and townscapes around Taunton.  Weather permitting, there will be opportunity to work outside in the environment. The course will continue to explore a wide range of mediums and techniques with an overall aim to help individuals develop their skills and creativity.

There will be a mixture of both experimental and abstract ways to make art alongside more traditional methods, referring to well known artists as we go. It is an informal and very welcoming group. Learning how to build a picture from different elements, using a wide variety of materials and different ways to respond to  a subject.

Liz Gregory is a painter and printmaker based in the Blackdown Hills on the Devon/Somerset border, with a fine art degree from Birmingham College of Art. Her work stems from her immediate environment, and everyday and overlooked objects. She has been teaching for over 30 years, but most recently has worked primarily for Spaeda and SAW.
