Taunton Comedy Club is proud to be part of Somerset Comedy Festival and throughout the month of July we will providing amazing comedy stand-up gigs so you can experience some of the most laughter giving comedians on the comedy circuit. So, no need to go to Edinburgh to get the latest acts. It’s all here in Somerset with the Somerset Comedy Festival.

Special Event – Stand Up For Cider – Champion of Champions!

For those who aren’t in the know, CICCIC and Genius Events have been running a stand-up comedy competition each year, where new and not so new comedians compete for the title as Stand up for Cider champion.

So, as part of Somerset Comedy Festival we are celebrating Stand Up for Cider by bringing back the winners of the last 10 years! A couple have given up comedy, but we are not going to let that stop us!

Our resident MC Dave Arnold is always banging on that he never made the final in the years he took part….so…. He is getting a place in this one-off special show! If that wasn’t enough brilliant news…. our favourite Suzy Bennett is going to MC for us!
