Doors 11.30am. Start 12pm. Adv ticket £11. OTD ticket £14.

Join us for a beautiful lunchtime classical music concert to uplift the soul and stimulate those musical senses with the Fitzwarren Musicians Quartet who will be performing their own
compositions by Alice Thomas and Jeannette Owen on various combinations of woodwind
instruments.

“I have seen the Fitzwarren Musicians Quartet on several occasions and the quality of the musical journey they take you on has all the emotions and expertise you’d expect from great compositions and musicianship. This is one concert you shouldn’t miss and its an honour to have the play here at CICCIC”, Andrew Knutt, Director, CICCIC.

About The Quartet

Alice is an clarinettist who graduated with a BMus (Hons) from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Born and raised in Somerset she relished the opportunity to return to be a woodwind specialist at John Packer Ltd. Encouraged by Jeannette, composing has become her latest endeavour.

Jeannette studied flute, piano and recorder at the London College of Music and a masters in composition at Bath Spa. She is now a composer, musician and instrumental teacher working at various schools in Somerset and directing the Fitzwarren Collective, putting on various concerts around the South West.

Amanda also studied flute, piano and recorder at the London College of Music and now teaches instrumental lessons and performs regularly with the Fitzwarren Musicians in between supporting her children as musicians, running a business and supporting music in Devon schools.

Rebekah is a clarinettist and pianist who is a music graduate from the University of Birmingham. Whilst her day job is now working within tourism on Exmoor, she has become very involved as a musical director for shows at the Regal Theatre, Minehead. She is also a valuable member of the Fitzwarren Collective.
