Brought to you by CICCIC and Genius Events (the people who bring you Stand Up for Cider) this bi-monthly comedy club will exercise your chuckle muscles and deliver a great night out at CICCIC’s amazing Memorial Hall.

You’ll get the chance to 4 professional comedians on the night along with some amazing talent from known comedians. It will be unadulterated, full of surprise and have you laughing all the way through the weekend.

Headliner – Was Cally Beaton – Now Ben Norris

It is with regret that due to unforeseen personal circumstances Cally Beaton will no longer be performing at Taunton Comedy Club at CICCIC, Sat 16th Dec. She has also cancelled her performance the day before, which was be held at Wookey Hole. She has however, promised to perform at CICCIC when her personal circumstances have changed.

Therefore, we are very excited to replace Cally with comedian Ben Norris. Ben’s TV credits include: “Mock the week” (BBC 1), “The Comedy Store” (Paramount and Comedy Central), “Never mind the Buzzcocks” (BBC 2), “They think it’s all over” (BBC 2), Radio 4 and much more.

Jason Manford said that Norris is “..unbelievably brilliant” and The Guardian says, “With 20 years on the clock, Norris is one of the most bankable headliners around and is a brilliant improviser.” London is Funny said “A cast iron guaranteed headliner”.

Middle Act – Jake Baker

Hailing from the West Country, Jake has been nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award three times for his unique brand of off-kilter storytelling. He’s returning to our area for a special performance for Taunton Comedy Club. Jake promises family-friendly, clean and observational humour.

Opening Act – Michael Legge

Michael is a legend of the comedy circuit, a seasoned headliner and multi award winning comedian. There’s not much Michael hasn’t done or a club he hasn’t performed at. He has literally been there and done.

From being a presenter on MTV to performing stand up for Comedy Central Stewart lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience, Michael has also been a regular voice on the radio popping up on BBC Radio 4 & 6 and absolute radio where he co-hosted The Dave Gorman Show in 2012.

His awards include the Sony Award and a BAFTA nomination and he has performed across the globe. As we said there’s not much he hasn’t done.

MC – Pam Ford

A Birmingham Born woman with strong Aussie accent, this former Pub landlady turned comedian, soon out grew her small Kent village pub to perform her unique comedy set in comedy clubs and Theatre’s all over the UK and Europe. A regular at the Edinburgh fringe festival.

Pam stands tall as a comedy icon, captivating audiences with her timeless wit, infectious charm, and undeniable talent. With a career that spans generations, she has left an indelible mark on the comedy landscape, delivering laughter that transcends time.
