Temporary Closure of CICCIC
Dear Friends, Supporters & Customers of CICCIC
It is with much regret following a request from the government for venues to voluntarily shut down as part of ‘social distancing’ measures, Creative Innovation Centre CIC (CICCIC) will be closing as a venue for the immediate future from today.
This means all events as of Weds 18 March 2020 will be cancelled or postponed and we will not be open to the public. We will announce through all channels to let you know when it’s safe to reopen. We are already looking at options and will endeavour to reprogram events in the future.
Customers who have bought tickets are welcome to make contact via email for refunds to firstname.lastname@example.org. We would also appreciate anyone who may feel financially able, to donate their ticket price to our not-for-profit Community Interest Company which runs the venue, to help sustain our future while we do our bit to support the community.
Rest assured we are leaving no stone unturned to ensure CICCIC remains solvent and can cover its ongoing costs during this closure period. But unlike the Brewhouse or Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre; that are funded by councils and can ride through this storm; we are not. This also means that if we cannot find the £30,000 during this closure period, we will be at risk of permanent closure. Therefore, we need your support if you can provide it? Whether that be in heart or mind i.e. by doing a benefit gig after things blow over or by making a donation using the link below. Either way we want this community asset to remain open for the community to benefit from.
We know it all sounds very dire and boring and we will miss you all. However, with a positive attitude, hard work from CICCIC directors, and support from the community we will still be here when things get better. We will welcome you back with open arms.
Everyone – let’s look out for each other and try to stay safe.
