Doors 7.30pm. Start 8.15pm. Adv ticket £16. OTD ticket £19.

CICCIC presents some of the best musicians in the UK and on Sat 11th Oct we have renowned guitarist Adam Sweet and his band and we have designated this live music event as ‘directors choice’ due to the quality of the musicianship, performance and creativity.

About Adam Sweet Band

Adam Sweet delivers brooding blues and roots rock, balancing richly detailed song writing with soulful vocals and expertly piercing guitar work.

Taking his cue from the British blues boom sounds and rock riffs of the 60s and 70s, the independent blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter has carved out his own territory between classic rock, blues and Americana.

Since being crowned Introducing Stage winners at The Great British Rock and Blues Festival in 2023 the Adam Sweet Band have been rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the tightest units on the circuit.

They have built on their success with triumphant performances at venues and festivals across the UK, including London’s 100 Club, the Brudenell Social Club, Sidmouth & Rye International Jazz & Blues Festivals, the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival and they have supported the likes of Wishbone Ash, Kris Barras Band and Elles Bailey. In 2025 they were nominated in the category of ‘UK Blues Emerging Act of the Year’ at the UK Blues Awards.

Taking his cue from the British blues boom sounds and rock riffs of the 60s and 70s, independent blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Adam Sweet has been carving out his own territory between classic rock, blues and Americana for over a decade. With his band he delivers brooding blues and rootsy rock, balancing richly detailed song writing, soulful vocals and expertly piercing guitar work.

The Adam Sweet Band features:

  • Garry Kroll on drums (whose touring and recording credits include Mark Ronson, Joss Stone, Sandi Thom, Elles Bailey and Andrea Bocelli)
  • Paddy Blight on bass (The Hoosiers, Wildwood Kin, Andy Timmons, That Pedal Show)
  • Thomas Hughes on Hammond organ (Nektar, Eddie Floyd, Geno Washington, Danny Bryant, The Selecter)

In 2024 they released ‘Live at Crescent Records’ with the accompanying YouTube series clocking up over 80k views in the first few months of its release. With the band Adam is currently writing and recording the follow up to his acclaimed 2020 album release ‘Sink or Swim’.
