About The Sweethearts

With decades of playing experience behind them, and a thousand influences, the Somerset-based band are keen to offer up something different. From the original songwriting and lyrics from front man Nick Girone-Maddocks, to the selection of cool covers they work into their sets, there is sure to be something for everyone. This includes hot country, blues, jazz-infused and rock n’ roll, with leanings toward ‘70s greats such as Heads, Hands & Feet, Steely Dan and Little Feat – a wide variety which all seems strangely appropriate!

Comprising well-known local musicians Nick Girone-Maddocks  (guitars / vocals), Chris Hardcastle (keyboards), Warren Young (bass) and Roger Cawsey (drums), sit back and enjoy a musical trip into the seldom-heard!
