Venue: Bridgwater and Taunton College, Wellington Road, Taunton.

Autumn Term: 6th November – 4th December 2024, Wednesday Evenings 18:00-20:00

Part of the Creative Innovation Centre CIC Community Arts programme.

Screen-printing creating A2 poster size prints

An introductory short course in a purpose-built printmaking facility at Bridgwater and Taunton College mentoring through the fundamentals of various screen-printing processes, enabling the creation of several outcomes, allowing adaptation for numerous applications.

This programme will include exploring image making through monotype drawing, exploring your compositions, before transferring onto smaller screens through a process using drawing fluid and block, creating your initial artist proof screen-prints that explore the viability of your ideas. This will culminate in the creation of A2 poster size prints utilising the magical screen-print transfer process of ultra-violet exposure onto a larger screen.

If you would like to delve into and explore your ideas and designs in a purpose-built professional printmaking studio you can now book your space.  Cost per person for the 5-week course is £125 which includes all tuition, tools and materials.  Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

Adam Grose MA RWAAN is a highly experienced and professional master printmaker and has received many awards for his high quality and imaginative works. He has a very focused and sensitive approach to his tuition, making sure everyone understands the processes and techniques, ensuring everyone achieves their outcomes through his exciting and creative workshop programmes.
