We are honoured to present some of the best seasoned jazz musicians for our Sunday Jazz with the Leary Hasson Quartet who base their music on classic modern jazz with excursions into reggae, rock and Latin styles. Lots of old favourites, some not so well known and a couple of originals thrown into the mix.

The Leary Hasson Quartet comprises Leary on Piano, Richard Steward on all the saxophones, Flute and Clarinet, Phil Horler on drums and Dave Roberts on Double Bass.

Leary is best known as the keyboard player with Louis and the Iguanas and has had a notable career as a musician playing with prog – rockers Marsupilami and CMU.

Richard is well known as lead alto player in Def 17 and the Deane big band as well as playing in several jazz outfits in the South west.

Phil has made his name as one of the best young drummers in the area and is a music teacher and session musician as well as playing in numerous live bands.

Dave Roberts is a ex head of music and plays Double bass with several bands in the South West.
