The Creative Innovation Centre was delighted to be nominated for the Arts and Cultural award at the MTM awards on 17th Dec in Bristol. The event hosted hundreds of inspiring people and organisations who do amazing work in the promotion of multiculturalism and support important cultural development projects in their communities. ARTS & CULTURE AWARD The awards are given for artistic endeavour, achievement and excellence for Creativity in the Arts, Culture and Music disciplines. The MTM Awards provide a unique opportunity to recognise & award organisations, business and persons that inspire communities and excel in business and community work.

The Representation of the People Act in 1918 extended the vote to women for the first time in the United Kingdom. In 2018 we celebrate the centenary of this milestone with some great events at the Creative Innovation Centre – all supported by The Heritage Lottery Fund. The Women’s Vote Centenary Week of Events is one of a number of ways in which this important anniversary is being marked across England.
